- JOINclusion is among the projects partnering with the event RomeCup 2024 that will be held on 20 and 21 March at the University of Tor Vergata and on 22 March at the Campidoglio (Sala Laudato Sì, Protomoteca).
The 17th edition of the RomeCup, entitled “Artificial intelligence and robotics for the challenge of holistic sustainability” is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the University of Tor Vergata, sponsored by Roma Capitale, Regione Lazio, Unindustria and the Italian Association of Robotics and Automation (SIRI), and organised with Italian Tech and the GEDI publishing group.
For the second year, the “Most promising researcher in robotics and artificial intelligence” award is being organised, in collaboration with the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome and the GEDI Group for researchers, PhD students and/or new PhD students no more than three years after obtaining their degree, involved in research projects in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.
At RomeCup 2024 pupils and educators can experiment the JOINclusion game-based application and learn more about its potential to promote the social inclusion of pupils between 7 and 12. The educational tool, enhanced by machine learning techniques to personalize the user experience and optimize the customization of the learning path, can be used to support playful learning strategies based on cognitive perspective taking.
