Can a machine make art? Current limits and trends in Artificial Intelligence (without the hype)

AI has a tremendous impact on our lives, arts included. Besides the rise of AI, the fundamental question remains the same: Are there actual differences between humans and machines? Can a machine (based on AI) perceive, understand, learn and in the end reproduce art concepts or is it that it fools us? Throughout this talk (and using many art paradigms), I will try to approach why current AI techniques work so well and what are some of the existing limitations towards a true AI.
