PhD research
Nico Roos did his PhD research on handling inconsistent and uncertain information. He developed an assumption-based argumentation system for handling inconsistent information based on a reliability assessment. His PhD research also addressed the question whether a subjective probability measure can be defined based on the amount of information and knowledge an agent possesses. A summary of the PhD thesis.
